Linda Miles, Senior Accountant:
Linda Miles is a Senior Accountant for LBK Health Care, Inc., a certified public accounting firm specializing exclusively in accounting and reimbursement services for the long-term health care industry.
Ms. Miles has over 20 years of experience in long-term health care accounting. She has worked in the corporate, as well as nursing facility, settings performing the full range of accounting functions. She specializes in the accounts receivable area of the firm and has been instrumental in the development of corporate procedures and reporting as it relates to accounts receivable. Most recently, Ms. Miles has been active in the development of the Medicaid direct billing software and has led the firm’s participation in the state-wide pilot testing program, working closely with the State of Ohio staff to implement the direct billing program.
Ms. Miles graduated from Wright State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting. In addition to her A/R duties, she is responsible for preparation of monthly financial statements, year-end cost reports, and annual budgets. She has consulted with several clients on their A/R, Medicare and Medicaid billing issues, and financial reporting needs and has participated in corporate compliance reviews.
