Fran Savard, RN, ASN, BSM, RAC-C:
Fran Savard, RN, ASN, BSM, RAC-C, is an RN Consultant for LBK Health Care, Inc., a certified public accounting firm specializing exclusively in accounting and reimbursement services for the long-term care industry.
Ms. Savard has 30 years of experience in health care including acting as Resource Nurse in an acute Intensive Care setting and as Director of Nursing in long-term care facilities. She was previously Assistant Vice-President for Clinical Operations with a multi-facility organization and has also served as an RN Consultant with a national pharmacy. She has assisted facilities throughout Ohio, Michigan, New York, and other East coast states in developing and refining restorative nursing programs. Ms. Savard has served on the NATCEP curriculum revision committee, including the subcommittee that developed the curriculum for the Dining Assistant Program. She has consulted with numerous facilities in accomplishing regulatory and risk management compliance.
Ms. Savard graduated from Brevard Community College with an Associate of Science in Nursing degree, and she graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Management from Park College. She is credentialed as a Resident Assessment Coordinator by the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators (AANAC) and has completed the Director of Nursing Development Program with the Association of Ohio Philanthropic Homes and Housing for the Aging (AOPHA).
Ms. Savard participates on the Regulatory and Health Council for AOPHA and is a member of Pi Gamma Mu (International Honor Society in Social Science), the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators, the Ohio Director of Nursing Association, and the National Director of Nursing Association.
