Bruce T. Carpenter, CPA:
Bruce Carpenter, CPA, is Vice President and Shareholder of LBK Health Care, Inc., a certified public accounting firm specializing exclusively in accounting and reimbursement services for the long-term health care industry.
Mr. Carpenter has over 20 years of experience in health care accounting, auditing, and reimbursement. He previously served as Vice President of Finance for a multi-facility long-term care management organization, as well as auditor and consultant for international and regional CPA firms. He is experienced in the financial reporting requirements of freestanding and hospital-based nursing facilities.
Mr. Carpenter has assisted in the development and implementation of operating budgets and cost accounting systems. He helped to develop and implement the firm’s corporate compliance review procedures for monitoring Medicare and Medicaid compliance for long-term care facilities. Mr. Carpenter has prepared numerous certificate of need applications, as well as directed the accounting and financial reporting services for rapid growth entities, turnaround ventures, and not-for-profit organizations.
Mr. Carpenter graduated from Franklin University, is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, and is Past-Chairman of the Health Care Committee.
